Where the dates come from
We keep the dates by hand. A festival page says where its date was checked and when. If it says the date has not been checked, that is true and we would rather tell you than look confident.
Why a date can differ from your neighbour’s
Many festivals are kept on different days in different states, and sometimes in different households. Where that happens we list one date, name the states, and say what is done differently. We do not present one practice as the correct one.
Why we do not print exact timings
Nishita kaal, pradosh kala, a muhurta — these move with your city, sometimes by an hour. We say what a timing depends on and send you to a local panchang instead of printing a number that is right for one place and wrong for yours.
If we get something wrong
Tell us and we will fix it and say that we did. Every festival page has a link that opens an email with the festival and the date already filled in.
How we make money
We sell puja goods. The planner shows what a ritual needs, and links to what we stock — but only where we actually have something for it. Flowers, milk and a coconut appear with nothing attached, because they are not ours to sell.

Nothing. Your plans are saved in your own browser, not on our servers. There is no account and no sign-up.
